| Being stuck in a lift is no joke. Last Sunday we were stuck in the elevator at Guilin building for 40 minutes. Who is the "we" you asked? Well together with Lloyd Reeb our speaker were Bob, his friend, CC Chang, Francis Ng, Shaun Goh and 80 years old Mrs Wong (Zech's mother) and yours truly.
For almost all of us, this was the first time. For our two American friends in their suits and tie the lift became a "steam room". We prayed and shared encouraging stories of what the Lord is doing in different parts of the wolrd and time passed rather quickly.
These experince causes us to really take a pause, to rethink life's priority, and how to make our lives count. Coincidentally Lloyd was here to conduct the HalfTime Seminar and his topic was Making Our Lives Count! We may think everything is going smoothly , yet suddenly eveything can change it may not be what we anticipated. What is seen is temporal, what is unseen is eternal... 2 Cor 4 :18. That was the text Lloyd started his message on Sunday. It certainly causes us to set our eyes on the eternal purpose God has for us.

| Clementi Cell held their MY HOPE event on 19 Dec and turn out was 34. There were 14 guests and we had an exciting program that evening. Cavelyn the cell leader with Lily as the intern had worked very hard together with her cell in making this event a succes. I quote Cavelyn:
It is a very successful and rewarding time as we partner with our Abba Father to do His business. I firmly believed seeds had been planted and will be watered in due time to harvest. 2 guests Brendon (Daphne's nephew) & Kelly (Daphne's long-time friend) were very touched by the movie and Daphne's testimony, and their hearts are very open to the gospel. Kelly joined us in church yesterday and is blessed by the message. We will continue to do follow up with our oikos to extend God's love to them. Having said all these, our team spirit and teamwork from all cell family present there were just tremendous!! I am very thankful from the bottom of my heart that we truly are a BODY OF CHRIST, united and shouldered one another for His Kingdom's sake. It is with much joy and rejoicing that we must congratulate ourselves for a job well done!! I am very proud of us!! Indeed all Praises to our heavenly Father. PTL!

| Last month I was in Ho Chi Minh City and had a wonderful meal in Nam Bo Restaurant. This restaurant is located in District 5 and the food is simply delicious. The prices are very reasonable.
We had the steam fish wrapped in a mellon. Very delicious but be careful of the bones.
The next day we had the opportunity to travel down to My Tho and had a tour of the Mekong Delta. It was certainly a very enriching experience. It cost us 90,000 Dong for the boat tour. And we had a very sumptuos lunch on one of the island which cost 2.200,000 Vietnamese Dong ( US$122).
